I know, Kilroy told me he will crush me if i complain like usual. just pokin' the bear.
Also, I don't suppose you'd have a link to that natural gravity mod, would you? Steam is wonking out with the workshop for me right now. Hopefully if I had a direct link it would work.

also consult this chart.

Eh, it still won't let me open it. Thanks though, I'll probably look at it later.

Maybe next month's will be more of a challenge....
are you saying i should make it harder... say reduce the block limit... First time anyone has asked for a smaller block limit
here is the stright up natural gravity mod tipping pug
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=464877997
the chance of me asking for less blocks is exactly the same as me asking for a vanilla contest.......
I hope KSh figures out a way to stream mods into an opened world soon
To add to this, as a general rule of thumb, you should have at least one large hydrogen thruster per 500,000kg on the ship (including cargo mass). That's a guideline for cheap-ass survival builds anyway. It's enough to land on (and leave) the alien planet, but only barely.
What sort of cargo can we expect? There's quite a difference between transporting 842,000L worth of computers (168,400 kg*), or platinum ingots (~18 million kg*).
* Assuming I didn't botch the math. It's rather late here. Either way, the difference in total mass is huge.
Edit: I not can raed good. Iron ore. Gotcha. In my defence, I did mention it was rather late :)
Crew compartments ( bridge, cryopod room ) must be airtight along with the the small ship hangar.
it was pointed out to me that it was silly to have just the hangar be airtight. My fault for not having that be evident in the op.
Actually, I'm almost done with this one. Unless I fail to get a working thrust:weight ratio, but that's just a matter of more engines.
Oh, in case anyone wants to ask, the standard blue KSH mining shuttle that's used as a measure for the minimum hangar size comes out to about 3x5x3 large blocks - low and narrow enough to fly through a 3-block line of airtight hangar doors, and goes 5 blocks inside. That's not particularly large.
