How do ranged match work? (and rant about Dr. Shoals)
How do ranged match work? Because, as I understand it, it will find an opponent at about your skill level, and match it with you. But I always ends up with an opponent that are far more skilled than me. Or I end up with an opponent, that choose a noob character like Dr. Victoria Shoals (seriously, she is way too overpowered!).
And therefore I furthermore think it would be nice, if it was possible to leave a online game during character selecting, because I would really love to avoid Doctor selectors (and that is not always shown as fav. character).

it's completly random. And you played the game 4 hours you cant say a char is overpowered. Shoals is a good char but maybe 2% of the mains play here how it supposed to be. You just have to learn the MUZ

I wouldn't easily call Shoals a noob character. I do believe she has a lot of safeguards. However, in advanced play, novice tactics are the first to be exploited. Shoals is a very easy character in terms of having a contingency plan, however, playing her won't teach you the basics of Divekick. She is on a completely different level in terms of how to play in an advanced level. Play a little longer before you judge her. I would recommend playing Dive, Kick, Pao, or MarkMan to pick up some advanced tactics in standard divekicking. While the latter 2 are somewhat of counter picks, all 4 will teach you have to zone properly. Message/add Dawg Pilez if you want some sparring lessons.

I am still a "noob" in Divekick. Maybe therefore I always get my a-s-s wiped of opponents, that choose Shoal.
But I am positively impressed of how much depth, and how "complicated" a game, that only use two buttons, can be. And how much variation the diffecent characters offer.
Divekick: easy to learn. But damn tough to master.
