How can I get this one Rukh Egg in the Veil?
I get that that Rukh Eggs are intentionally out-of-the-way on dry land and difficult to find. They're used for a pretty powerful recipe. However, I've already found three of them, but there's a fourth I simply do not get. I have the egg at the very top of the Turtle Cave (turns out Nature Form + Hot Soup can let me launch myself with the cactus things) and I have two of them in the Eastern Veil, acquired by climbing that tall shaft once you have light form. But there's a fourth one there somewhere. I've seen the nest below the highest point, under one overhang from above and behind another from below, over a steep slope as the only access point. I have a picture of it:

It's in the "mouth" of this "head-like" rock formation.[]

I haven't the foggiest idea how I'm supposed to get there, other than possibly launching myself at the speed of sound from all the way across the bay, from somewhere around the beach of the Sun Temple. And even that would be a crapshot since I'd need extreme precision to nail the little alcove precisely... And that's assuming my Nature + Soup combo can even get that much power (I doubt it).

Any ideas?

I can't get up there but the way I would think would be the way to do it is start from the platform below and then use the nature form cactus to create a platform on the slant there, then jump up and slightly right while having another cactus charged and fire it so that it becomes a platform below you sticking out, repete one more time and you should be able to get up.

The big problem is that if you make a single misstake you will fall down on the left and have to start over from the bottom.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to do, personally. Hot Soup can let Nature Form jump VERY high off its cactus things. The issue, however, is she tends to land crooked on the things. It looks like she'd be able to jump "away" from the cactus and go straight up, but she always seems to dive forward and into the water, FAR away from the cliff I'm supposed to put a cactus on. The other issue is the cactus seeds fly rather slowly and drap on an arc. I'd need to plant a cactus nearly at the top of her jump, but the delay means the plant shoots out as I'm near it, knocking me off the cliff face into the water.

Something I've always wondered, though: Li is a landwalker, right? So why can't he walk on land and help me? I have the Li Song to summon him, so I was hoping I could call him up onto the ledge and have him help me in some way. Doesn't work. Similarly, I thought I could use the Spirit Form thing to maybe float up and materialise at a crystal I imagined might be there. Alas, Spirit Form is not usable outside the water. Such a pity.

I can see a Rukh up there squaking at me in a mocking fashion, I just can't get to it :)

Well, you can simply just jump from wall to wall (with the Beast Form will be MUCH easier, and you don't need any soup) in a place on the right side of The Veil. Like, you jump to a wall, and then instantly jump to another (you have to be fast, or you'll fall to the water again). It looks hard, but it's actually very easy. Once you reach the top of it (where there is a waterfall), just attack the Rukh with the Energy Form and it will drop an egg.

(if you didn't understood, I can record a video using fraps, showing how to do it, then post here)

Yes we know that but there is a 3rd Rukh in a small alcove between the top and buttom Rukh nests which is MUCH more difficult to get to. That's the one we are discussing.

That spot in particular has no opposite wall to jump to. Check the pic I linked to in the original post. The "chute" leads up to two separate levels and is fairly easy to use, but there's a spot above the "lower level" that doesn't seem reachable in any easy way. I could only ever jump up high enough to see what's up there, never to actually visit it.

I suspect I'm not intended to go to that particular place.

Well, THAT spot... I remember I've reached this spot a LOOOONG time ago. I think I used the Nature Form + Some Soup (don't remember which soup it was, but it gave me 2+ speed).

Oh, right! I should try that. I only ever used +1. Thanks :)
