Extreme lag in multiplayer
Is anyone else having the same problem ? pretty much every server I go on gives me really bad lag spikes which makes playing near impossible, even if my friend who has a very good connection hosts it's still quite bad.

Yep same here. Tested some maps with a friend, and the best one was the Victoria Crater Hydro Demo. Had the Windows network monitor open during gameplay and noticed that some maps like Gale Crater with high weather physics and details required at least 900-1000 kbits/s upload per client while it was only 300-500 kbits/s for Hydro Demo scenario.
Dram said it's all due to optimization and should be fixed during beta.

No wonder I'm having problems, I barely get 600kbit\s up at the best of times.

Hey guys, yep as mentioned, the code is not yet optimized. It sends info for everything each net update, which is about 12.5 times per second. It should only send info when the error margin is large enough.

@dram - Hi, thanks about this fantastic game, but the multi is not playable when a lot of building (40/50 printing) is done. Lag and disconnecting maybe it's due to optimization in beta game. Any news about this? An update maybe? When it's planed?

The MP performance is killing this game for me. I keep having connection issues when trying to join a friend. Has it been optimised yet? Love the features though

Hey guys, not completely optimized just yet. Though lag strongly depends on:
1) Object count
2) Server upload speed
