However, my performance is similar to Shogun, maybe my settings will work for you. The only things I have on max are textures, animations, and resolution. Most other things are low or off: shadows, AA on 2x, fancy vid effects. It always helps to prioritize settings, I only have things on that actually make a serious difference.
I actually put everything to minimum and it's still the same fps. I'm not a beginner when it comes to troubleshooting :>.. I read forums, and the general consensus is that this game has terrible performance.
Also resolution is bugged, changing resolution just makes everything blurry, the screen size is still the same.
If this is an example of neocore's work, I am definitely not looking forward to playing King arthur II.
The screen tearing is so bad that I can clrearly see the image being drawn across the screen when I move the camera on the battlefield. It's actually quite nauseating.
I searched for any obscure troubleshooting tips or clever performance tweaks but I came up empty.
Either way, I hope you guys figure them out. This is one of my favorite games of all time!
Before making dumb suggestions, make sure the suggestion is actually possible. The aspect ratio has absolutely nothing to do with my problem. Furthermore you cannot select the aspect ratio in game.
That the resolution is fixed and at a constant aspect proportion for the user interface is the sole cause for the blurriness you encountered since it is where the native resolution proportionality is distorted to fit the actual chosen display resolution.
I NEVER SAID YOU COULD "select the aspect ratio in game" - READ CAREFULLY ADVICE GIVEN IN FUTURE!
[You may need to alter the setting per Steam User Profile if multiple accounts]
1) Exit the game and make sure it is not running.
2) WIN+Run regedt32
3) Locate the key "UseResolutionForGUI" Under HKCU\Software\NeoCore Games\King Arthur\Profiles\{steamprofile}
4) Ensure the value is set to the same as the "Resolution" key value
5) This will enforce that the UI gadget objects all display at the same resolution as the main game.
This is perfectly possible and will solve your issue so stop whining and actually try it before you make baseless accusations.
