I can't even start the game

I meet all the requirements. Except one: I have a newer version of nVidia PhysX installed, and the game doesn´t even start. Tells me to install it.. when I say OK, nothing happens. Cancel, nothing happens. I´ve tried to install the version of PhysX in the install folder of the game (InstallUtils), and that installer tells me I have a newer version, so it just has the option "close". I paid for this game. I would appreciate if I can play it. As said, my computer is far better than the basic requirements.
Specs here:
Mountain Studio3D 154GT: i7 4700 - 8Gb Ram - GTX 870 6Gb - HD750 7200rpm - SSD 128 - 15.6 mate FullHD

ReValdiate your local cache.

The minimum version of PhysX required is PhysX_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe

OK I made it work. Steps:
1> validate local cache as Admin
2> Exit Steam
3> Uninstall PhysX, install PhysX again
4> run steam as admin, run the game. I can play

indeed, but the game has some interesting mechanics, if you are into RTS and RPGs :)
