Game crash in CTF [SOLVED]

Hi, i'm really enjoying GGE and no problems so far but: each time I scores a point in a single player CTF event (Desert Arena), the game crash.

Drivers, DirectX and Visual C++ up to date.

My Specs:
Sabertooth P67
I7-2700k
8 Go
GTX 680
ASus Xonar DX

What i've tried:
- Uninstall vcredist_x86 and x64, reboot, reinstall both, reboot again. Game still crash.
- I run a System File Checker, some errors were found but repaired. Game still crash.
- I've checked the games files from Steam, no errors.

Also, my video drivers are in 327.23, the last WHQL from nVidia.
I forgot to mention that i'm on Windows 8 64bits and my games are on a SSD.

Volkein, can you please do the following:

1. Start the game.
2. Open the console (tilda key) and type: DeveloperMode true.
3. After you type this, you should see "Developer mode is enabled." in the console.
4. Play the CTF until the game crashes.
5. Go to folder: C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Documents\Gamepires\GasGuzzlersExtreme
6. Send the log file (GasGuzzlers.htm) to an e-mail address: dini(at)gamepires.com

No clues in the log file unfortunately. Can you please send me your Profiles directory? I would like to try to reproduce the crash myself. The profiles directory is in the same directory as log file. Just zip/rar it and send it to the same e-mail address.

As I can see from the log, you go to the garage then to the events and start CTF event. Is that correct? Does the game crash during loading or at the same moment as you score?

We managed to reproduce the issue. The bug is in French localisation. The Steam update to fix this will be available tomorrow.

What I can recommend until Steam update becomes available are two things:

1. Change the language to language other than French
-or-
2. Give me an e-mail address and I'll send the fix with the steps explaining what to do (one file needs to be replaced)

My father experienced the exact same thing with the Hungarian language. Will the patch help it either?

Unfortunately, the latest patch will not fix that. We'll make another patch to fix the bug in Hungarian translation. If you cannot wait for the patch, just send me an e-mail and I'll send the instructions what to do. The e-mail address is: dini(at)gamepires.com
