Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!

Fine, so whiny teens and adults don't like it...
but to be honest, this is a video game based on a TV show created for young children.

The game is repetitive and boring. Guess what? Kids like that sort of thing. A six year old will say the same stupid line from a cartoon eight-hundred thiry-two thousand times a day.

So, assuming that there is at least one other Steam user reading this forum who actually has kids between 5 and 10 years old, do your kids enjoy this game?

Not to burst your bubble, but Adventure time was not created for young children.

It was created to be able to be viewed by them though.

Not trying to start some stupid "OMG MY LITTLE PONY WAS NOT JUST MADE FOR GIRLS, ALSO 30 YEAR OLD MEN" kinda ♥♥♥♥ here, but Adventure Time's target audience is 20 year olds.

He has a point.

No, its target audience is kids. If the targeted demographic was the 18-34 subsection, it would be in the adult swim timeslot. You like a kids show. Deal with it. The fact that it has jokes thrown in for adults doesn't change this.

Well, ♥♥♥♥. It's aimed for my age and I STILL hate it.

What failure.

The really disqusting thing is that there's a very good chance it's on Cartoon Network because of the funding, and how the guys at corporate have a huge hard on for targeting yong boys for their shows, and if it can get them to buy their toys and such. CN will can a show if they can squeeze more money from another or replace it with one that can make more money. Anyway...well....I really don't remember where I was going, but something or other about getting more funding and a pitch about them getting good money from it.

You mean a company will cancel a show if it's not profitable. Holy ♥♥♥♥ new discovery. Company only make products or service if they make them money. Any Company does this.

No like it's been said they're pretty evil about it. Like how they cancelled young justice because they weren't targetting a young enough toy buying something or other. Doesn't really matter I don't remember the point I was going to make about the target age of Adventure Time.

Cartoon Network's whole goal is to sell toys along with their show. So yea, if the wrong demographic is exclusively watching they can't sell.

Cartoon Network needs to get their head out of the 80s.

You shouldn't cancel a successful show that is making you money, because you're mad that it's not making you more money.

So you're suggesting that Regular Show's target audience is children as well, correct?

TBH, I don't think AT sells toys. I know they sell alot of clothes though, nd i'm sure Megas XLR would have done the same. I oddly enough, see Fin's hat alot in public...and it is people in their 20s that where them, mostly chicks.

Which makes Young Justice getting canned more annoying. They just needed to make merchandise people actually wanted.
