Worth $20(3ds)?
So I see on amazon the game is $20 for 3ds.....
Is the game worth it for that price?

I actually really like dungeon/hack n slash games,so will this be good? How long are each dungeons to complete?

Also since you can't save until you beat 5 dungeons it seems pointless(almost) playing on PC/consoles. I was going to buy for PC,but at least on the 2ds I can put it into sleep mode and come back to it later. On consoles I am forced to play or else I looses my progress.

All in all this game seems to be made to be a handheld game,not a console game.

it is exactly worth $20 dollars. if you get it, play up til like the 22 floor or something. the game is fun, but it might take a little while in the begining to feel the same way :)
Nope.

$5 at most.

Well everyone's entitled to their opinions, however if I agreed with you then we'd both be wrong.
I would also have to agree with the $5 estimate. There are mobile games with far more substance that sell for less than this.

The 3DS has some fantastic games you can spend your money on. This isn't one of them.

a $5 dollar mobile game can be amazing for it's price but basing it on a expectation that the game only offers $5 worth of content? there's like a 100 ever expanding floors, multiple playable charaters that customize the gameplay with their different abilities. upgradable weapons, stat growth, shop with different items everyday, everchanging dungeon rooms so that no-one-go is the same. $5 dollars will never give anyone a mystery dungeon game, they take too much time an effort for anyone to sell it for so low. the cheapest I've seen a decent mystery dungeon game go for is $20. the game gets better the more you play it. the deeper into the game you get, the more substance you'll find :)

You sound like a kid who has his parents buy you games so you don't know true value if it hit you.

dude really? My parents have never bought me a single game. I'm 21 and I've been developing games for 7 years. I've been in Ai for two years and played a vareity of games for the sake of research. I understand the time and effort that goes into making every varible work with every objects' coding. I understand where the game lacks and where the game did good, and from that assement, after playing more than enough to understand an unbiased ground for the game, I can regonize that the game is worth $20. I'm sorry if the fact I say that the games worth $20 makes it sound like I think the game is SO super special awesome that I'd pay a million dollars for it. it's EXACTLY worth 20 bucks. If you can get it for less, it's a deal. if you can get it for $20,you paid the price it's worth. if it's not your cup of tea then it means you might not pay as much, however, it doesnt mean your fish eyed view is a smart stapled responce. if you didn't like this game it doesn't discredit the months that went into this game to just $5. the fact you think any game ported to 5 systems could even ever be worth $5 is a joke. seriously, next time have some self respect enough to know anything about the field of game marketing, or for that matter, know anything about gaming that would go farther than pressing a few buttons. ♥♥♥♥♥ the value of just a game. I doubt that your fetal pig brain can weigh the true value and worth of anything. you took an honest review from a satified customer, and layed out a middle school responce. honestly Koishi, you gonna call me ugly or something? Get over yourself and grow up.

21? Developing games for 7 years? Making games at 14 and you're telling me THIS game is worth every one of those 4000 pennies.

Nah. Even if someone was to pawn this game off to me for 5 dollars, I wouldn't want it. Gauntlet on NES is basically this game, and infinitely better. And it was made YEARS before this.

I'm NOT saying it's worth 40 bucks. i'm saying it's worth 20 bucks.
Gauntlet was a fun game, yes. with similar gameplay? yes.
now tell me why did you enjoy that game in itself?

Music. Difficulty. Puzzles. Co-op. Among other things.

All of which this game lack.

Now you're probably going "This game has cooP!' No, no it doesn't. A game that costs 40 dollars and in the 2013 has no reason now to have online. Gauntlet on NES had co-op of ITS TIME, this game, does not.

ok. hate to tell you,
this game has all of that.
(Less puzzles tho) true it desperately needs online, but the game is designed to play like an older retro game. why? because that was the vision for the game. It was made to emulate the feel of an old time game with a newer franchise. Should it be worth $40? as much as it should be worth $5. the game wasn't designed to be the greatest most cutting edge experinece, that doesn't mean you should throw away it's design and final concept away. if your so anal about playing with friends, invite friends over. it might not strike you as best of 2013, but it still a decent game. the game has decent music, increasing difficulty, moderate amount of puzzles, and basic level Co-op. if it had online it'll still be the same Co-op, just over the internet. I want online, i'll wait for it. however I don't need to throw my computer out a window, whining about how i didn't properly reseach the game before buying, to realize if I,myself, would be willing to buy a game of this caliber for the listed price. the game won't stay 40 bucks forever. eventually it'll probably be 15 bucks, but if you think that $5 is a decent price and any network selling it would agree with you, your dreaming.

Why in the hell are you defending this obvious attempt at fanbase milking?

You've been milked for your money for all you're worth. Accept the facts.
I enjoy the game even if it wasn't adventure time. I o agree with you though that they hoped to milk, and that i was milked. i admit it, and i'm not happy about it, however, that's not to say that this game has more to offer than "wow! adventure time! :D " I enjoy this game, if you don't, you don't. i know my money was milked from me, however, I wouldn't have felt that for 1/2 that price. i'm not out to be the extended hand of the "fan based milking" . I'm just a guy that loves games, hate games, and enjoyed this one.

`````We might have different opinions, but that was no reason to offend you. I wanted to apologize for insulting you. Just because I provoked by that spoiled child statement does not give me the right to judge your perception of the game and point of view. I'm sorry. I'd rather not abuse something as awesome as steam for problems. Sorry for the problem.
Flandre Scarlet is just a piece of ♥♥♥♥.
