Tips for dirt driving

I'm new and the dirt driving and currently it makes me want to throw my controller at my moniter, kick my foot into my computer and blow my brains out. Thats how much i rage at the dirt driving in this game.

Don't correct your direction much.
Do short precise movements.
Dont go <- -> -> <- etc. quickly as you will lose control over the car.

If I feel like I'm going too fast and won't make the turn without losing control over my car (aka it breaking out) I usually break and then steer. Then accelerate again =)

Do not accelerate and steer at the same time, I feel that works well for me.

The best way to drive on dirt is to mostly full-speed it, and not turn tight, just keep tapping your steering (if you're using a keyboard). Aim to take the wider dirt corners at the apex, and it helps keep your speed up if you drive through where you see all the grass sticking up, as you can take more of a direct path around the corner with less steering.
