Poöf Update

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for playing Poöf and enjoying it !
Thank you also for all your feedbacks (positive and negative), very important to us.

Here are some new and fixed stuff about Poöf:
- The Steam Trading Cards are finally available since begginning of the week.
- The bugged achievements (Saws) are fixed.
- You were a lot to say the "Knife effect" (slowing movement when a knife hits an ennemy) was annoying. So we changed it. It still exists but it is a lot more discrete.
- Fixed crash in Leaderboard.
- Other minor fixes

I haven't played since Nov 17 and i checked out the changes today. The game plays alot better now and i don't mean preformance. The "Knife effect" is a lot better then what it was and i enjoy the game more.

The "Knife effect" seems it can still delay or ignore jump presses. It doesn't ignore direction changes anymore from what i can tell. I think it will ignore a jump press. When an enemy is killed as the player presses the jump button. I haven't run into a situation where it's got me killed or become a frustation. It does require a lot of enemys triggering it as well.

Please support key rebinding. I have a trackpad - I'm using a laptop - and using the mousewheel is awkward. Arbitrary keybindings set by the users is the best solution. Also to remedy this, I tried using a xbox controller, but I really hate rumble, and I can't find any option to turn it off. This is kind of annoying. Some people like me don't like rumble on. Besides that, I think your game is fantastic!

I having an issue with Poof. Every time I start the game Steam Service Client wants to do a frist time install and then I'm ask if I want to run poof.exe to change my computer, which adds a french keyboard option. It does this every time I start the game. I have no use for switching my keyboard to french and the game should not change a thing on my computer. Big fan of Arkedo's other game Hell Yeah, but this is quite annoying.

Issue! Game won't load.
I have tried installing this twice. double checked the programs installed in first time set up. reinstalled this, verified the game files... what else can I do?
Nothing is working for me.
I just won't load.

J'ai un probleme de "fermage" (mon parler la france) du jeu! Lorsque que je quitte le jeu de facon normale, le bouton "quitter le jeu" pour ce que cela intéresse, sur mon comptee steam, je suis encore en "est entrain de jouer à poof"! C'est asser chiant car quand j'essaye de le relancer, je ne peut pas car "ce logiciel est deja en cours d'utilisation, nia, nia, nia..."! Par contre, ce probleme ne se passe que sur un seul pc, donc ce n'est pas le compte qui est bugé!

Sinon, je voudrais vous dire que j'adore ce jeu, un de mes coup de coeur 2013, mais sa manque d'un petit "editeur de map", voili, voilou!

Please add options to change resolution in game or as a launcher and a keyboard key for using the special ability.
It's very inconvenient to use the mouse just for that when I have to press the WSAD or arrows to move around.

You brought this game to a PC audience, please add some pc options.

Game controls configuration (I would prefer to play with only my keyboard, and no mouse)

Instead of keybinding and "knife effect" fixes, can we get the required fixes so that this game will actually run? Looking at the other pinned thread, there are a good number of users, Windows and Linux both, for whom this game won't run at all. Let's prioritize, shall we?

Y aurait il un moyen de regler le probleme de son sur mac ? Y a t il un support ? Je veux bien bidouiller le code pour avoir le son. S'il vous plait on veut continuer de jouer a Poof !
