Indiegogo Funder question
Does the new team intend to honor the Indiegogo Funder perks? I was a "Massive-Tier" Funder, and I'm anxious to know if I'll still be in the game or not.

Very glad it's back in development, by the way!

As it was mentioned in an official statement a long time ago, Justin Ross (Previous Project Leader) unfortunately made these perks without consulting the team, in the end it was announced all perks could no longer be active, except for the beta access for every single donator, those who donated higher values would have their names on a 'Missing Persons' board. If you wish to reclaim your donation, you must contact Justin 'Manio' Ross.

Thank you, and I apologise for this misfortune!

So, basically, I paid $105 for beta access. Seems fair. :/

Unfortunately this was due to unreachable rewards that the previous project leader thought he could meet without wondering if the team could do it, I notice you have him on your friends list, please contact him if you wish to be refunded, we are not yet in control of the donation funds. I really wouldn't like for you to have spent this much only to get beta access, so I sincerely hope you can straighten it out with him and not lose hope in us, it was an unfortunate incident that happened without the knowledge of the rest of the team.

Yeah, he just tweeted and offered to refund me. At least there's that.

Missing out on the perks is worse than being without the money though. Obviously, that's easy to say now that it's going to be on Steam, but I've been behind this game since it was struggling to raise $1,000 on Indiegogo, before it was Greenlit. I know you guys aren't a AAA studio, but it's rough being shrugged off like this.

I'm still going to be play the game, but still... I'm sure you can understand.

I've been on this team since Day 1 and it's more frustrating for me to know that promises were made to donators that could not be fulfilled, I wish we'd caught it earlier as we weren't aware of the campaigns until a later stage.

I definitely understand, I wish it didn't have to result in this at all and I do hope you won't lose faith in the project for some ambitious actions made by our past project leader.

Once again, I have to stress, Justin made these donation campaigns on his own, setting the rewards on his own without consulting the team, these rewards were too ambitious to go forwards with, and therefore in an official statement we released months ago, we said donations can be refunded to those who want their money back, but that everybody who keeps their donations will still get beta access and those above $5 get their name on a Missing Person's Board. This was known months ago. We have attempted to resolve all problems in this area.

The backer perks have always been unofficial.

All the best.
