This is an absolutely beautiful game, both graphically and in terms of story. I would highly recommend to any fans of the point & click genre of adventure games.
Sound, music, and voice acting are all top-notch. Voice acting is especially good compared to many games where the actors substitute hamminess and melodrama for a true-sounding, emotional dialogue.
The art is very nicely done, with some really breathtaking backdrops and good character design.
The plot weaves together two separate stories into a really compelling narrative that is very original. With so many games, books, and movies out there, it's hard to find a story that's truly unique, but Memoria does a very good job, especially with Sadja's story. There are two possible endings to Garon and Nuri's story, and at least for me, having finished both endings, it was a VERY difficult choice to make between the two. Although I admit that I'm a sap at the best of times, it's unusual for a game to make me feel so much of an emotional investment in every main character.
So all in all, this game is well worth it. I do recommend playing the first game, Chains of Satinav, before this one, else you lose an important part of Garon and Nuri's backstory. It's not required to play Chains first, but it will enhance the experient (and Chains of Satinav is quite a good game as well, if not as intricate as Memoria). Give them both a try!
