I love this game, it is filled with so much!
To start, this game is a steam punk survival (horror?) where robots are hunting you on an archipelago with 5 islands you were transported to after an experiment gone wrong. meanwhile you need to find fragments of this standing stone you need to complete so you can go back home, story is pretty basic.
The gameplay is good, before you start you get the choice of a few different sets of starting items ranging from ones that give you guns or traps to even a device that will help you locate the fragments you need to find, to just starting with nothing but bandages. You can also change the biome of each of the 5 islands... well 4 because the centre island always stays the same, their are 5 total biomes so if you want you can have one of each or you can have all of them be the same. At the same time you can manipulate the difficulty of the game in an interesting way, you can change how many of an enemy type will appear (with a 0-5 scale) at certain times in the game, the specific times in the game are based off of how much play time you have on that save or how many of the fragments you have picked up. Now with the actual game, their are buildings scattered across each of the 5 islands of the archipelago that will have items in them, most of the time the items are usless or have very little use, but you can find many useful items like toy trains to distract enemies or a map so you can see where you are going you could even find some melee weapons or guns, but be warned ammo is very scarce and if you try to kill a robot for its gun it can sometimes break the gun leaving only the ammo and a broken gun for you. The variety of enemies isnt overwhelming but it isnt too little, I think they could use to add some more enemies but it isnt a huge problem. The enemy types are interesting with the normal hunting robots that are actively searching for you, and the squire bots that are only there to protect the town they are in, the squire won't attack you unless he sees you steal from a building (I also had one occasion where the squire attacked me if another normal robot attacked me but that only happened once in my most recent play through the game. bug or not?) there are other interesting enemies that I won't say for the sake of keeping it a surprise for you.
CONTROLS: The controls are good besides crouch bound to C (might just be preference but I put it to CTRL) all keys can be rebound to any other key. The gamepad controls were weird last I tried to use my Xbox controller but it is all rebindable so shouldn't be too big of a problem.
UPCOMING:This game has more coming to it, as the devs are planning on adding co-op which is what I am the most excited for in the future.
All in all this game is very fun and you can have hours of fun playing it,
"Oh, and do be careful sir, you are being hunted"
