I'm thinking about purchasing this game...
I've been researching this game and so far it's extremely appealing to me, (I've always relished survival/stealth in computer games), but my main query regards the challenge, as that's something I truly love.

For examples, I've heard about the scattered device pieces, but how much effort do they take to find? Are the robot varieties/A.Is truly individualistic? Do foes indeed become more ruthless with progression etc.?

Others would be just how efficacious is the sensation of survival? To what extent does the current content live up to it's ideals?

I appreciate any information really. Thank you.

Disregard the person above, he's just not accustomed to being limited in the way of tools and weapons. Yes, the game presents a decent challenge, but I can't tell for sure whether AI gets better upon progression. I can tell you that they increase drastically in numbers, however, and that you WILL end up in situations where you truly need to assess threats and act accordingly.
The pieces themselves aren't difficult to find, much because the islands aren't that big. The enemies effectively make the path to the pieces alot longer though, since you really can't expect to plow down all resistance.

If this is indeed true, then it excites me greatly.

From your personal experience, do you believe there are times when you truly sense the "thrill" of the hunt? I think you know the images I'm referring to, such as breathlessly hiding in thick foliage while observing your foes traverse the moonlit planes etc. Do you believe such thrilling moments exist and is the associated stealth essential?

Also, how about the replayability? I've read that the content rearranges itself on every playthrough, but to what extent?

Thank you for any information.

The maps are randomly generated and they are quite random. Whenever an update emerges I always make a save and beat it. It has endless replayability, but it will be even more fun when they add co-op. Also, as for the 'hunt' feel there have been times I felt fear and excitement. Its not like most games where you eventually stop being scared of the enemies. I would recommend.

Yes, situations like that definitely occur. You might hear a gunfight break out between two different groups of hunters. You check your ammunition and notice you're low. Do you risk going out in the open to snatch some of the ammo? More robots might have heard the gunfire and are approaching as you sit in your little bush, pondering about the risk and the reward of it.
