Entering Houses

I think being able to actually enter houses would not only make looting more interesting (cupboards, drawers, desks, shelves, etc.), but would also add many new thrilling gameplay possibilities. For example, if a robot is chasing you, you could run in a house and close the door behind you, which would give you time to find somewhere clever to hide, and it would break the door down and search the house until it finds you or gives up. Also, they could search the houses regularly without having spotted you so you would have to carefully check houses before entering them.

I really second this. Was a bit dissapointed to find out I couldn't. I'd like to see this implimented.

First of all, this is one of the best ideas i have heard for this game! Also, I heard that they might add this, but if they do, it won't be any time soon :'/

I feel likes its the one reason I dont play this offten.. I kind of wanted my money back as soon as I tried looting my first house.. and the devs have decided its not worth it to update a house you could walk into.. If i were them I'd make three house shapes one small square, one large square and one irregular and just have furniture and chests generate in the houses at the start of the game. I'v seen people on garys mod whip this stuff up before.. granted these guys are doing a really good job with what they have but I feel like its missing alot of easy add on's.

Honestly, I can live without going into houses, I understand that these guys have limitations and what have you but there is one thing I would like. Some sort of picture, a random image of what the interior of said house might look like.

I know its no actual interior, but I feel that giving some sort of image next to the loot chart might at least help with the immersion.
