Sir, You Are Being Hunted

Multiplayer modes! (Ideas)
I've been playing this game for 6 hours now, and IT'S AWESOME! The stealth, adrenaline rush, when a giant horde is chasing you etc. But then I started thinking about the multiplayer, when playing earlier today. I came up with 3 different MP-modes:

Team-Deathmatch: Pretty basic actually. Both sides try to take out each other as many times as possible. The fight would be fought on a mountain biomed map. Each ones would start with a cup of tea, but you could collect stuff such as ammo, food, or bandages from the battlefield.

Co-Op: 2-4 players would try to beat campaign together as fast as possible. This is my personal favorite idea, because it would be really cool, if you could team-up with your friends and make ambushes with them and stuff.

Free-For-All: 2-8 players would try to survive on a giant island (3 island put together). They would fight as long as they can by playing with the basic rules of the campaign. Of course there would be robots all over the island hunting players.

As long as theres still a single player mode and an mp thats not pvp based i'll be happy.
I'd dig some kind of a "foxhunt" type mode, where I could be a robit hunter on horseback (with a bugle) riding around leading other robits, trying to kill my friends and stop them from getting fragments. Or something.

Also, some kind of "most dangerous game" mode where maybe you have one person be the "hunter" hunting everyone else down, one by one. Very clever people can come up with the rules and objectives for these modes. :)

Just a couple of ideas I had whilst playing lately. The amazing and beautiful British countryside generator inspired these thematic trains of thought.
@Groovy Monster
I LOVED the Most Dangerous Game! That is a great idea! I would also think of a gamemode where you and some friends could siege a fortress or something where the robots are gaurding and try to obtain a fragment and try to escape. Of course, this would require an inside structure to a building. Something I have not seen yet in the game. Maybe they could have already open doors or something...

I was actually talking to my cousin about this and we were talking about a multiplayer setting! This is perfect! XD

I can get behind that.
A version of "The Most Dangerous Game" would work quite well with the premise and feel of the game. maybe there could be a seperate island(with a castle on it) that the other players can get to but the that the "Hunter" starts on. I would also hope hat the "Hunter" is also being hunted by the robots. otherwise it'd be unfair.

The developers better start looking at this forum because all the ideas I've seen here so far are awesome! I agree with you a little when you say the hunter should be hunted by robots as well, but that would make it seem like Last Man Standing. In a sense, you're both the hunter and the hunted. Maybe the hunted should be able to find spare parts and manipulate fallen robots to work alongside him? Sort of like a disposable team. The robot fights for you but dies easily.
Wish we could fix broken robots to work for us.

That would have been awesome.
The only realistic flaw is that if you get them back online, they would still probably in some way be networked and thus could find each others position. The hostile robots could then find them and(by proxy) you. It would be really interesting idea though. I like it. Does the game actually tell you what the sir/madam di on the island before everyone was hunted? I ask because if they were some sort of programmer or administrator then they would likely posses the knowledge and practical skills to take them off the network and change the definitions for hostility and friendly. Sorry if that was poorly worded.
You first need to find wires to insert it in to the robot.
And more stuff.

Maybe we could find a "bunch of wires" or something in houses to fix them, so it would be limited and still realistic. I wouldn't care if they could home in on your location, it would still be very cool. Also a great way to distract bots from fragments as they run after their brother to bring him back to the fold.

A bunch of wires, a few CPU chips or other necessary components such as sheet metal for any busted hulls, maybe. I'm guessing you would be able to find the necessary items to bring them back online by looting, but more so on dead robots when you kill them. Of course, there would also need to be tools required as well to put the robot back together.
It all = very cool and we want a bigger inventory!
Regarding becoming the Hunter: Contagion has players become zombies when killed or infected. Also has a key to toggle on/off "zombie horde mode" to let the computer control the player's zombie as if it was an AI. That tricks players into thinking that it's an AI zombie.
The same could be done for S-YABH.
