Although the game is still in Early Access(beta) and one of the pioneer World War I First Person Shooters, the game shown great promise and and interesting gameplay.
You can use Defensive Squads or Assault Squads, each slot with a special unit with unique abilities and items. You can give orders as a NCO (Squad Leader), or follow your NCO with any other class such as Rifleman, Sniper or even Grenadier.
You can also customize your squad with different helmets, uniforms, and badges. And also you can name your own squad! (NOTE: This game have level system on it. You can level up your soldier AND your squad. In Order to customize your squad you MUST get some squad level)
The Graphics are quite amazing and if you don't own a "beefy" Gaming PC the game will run properly too!(Just set the graphics to low quality) Though I suggest having a good internet connection while playing it, since it is an FPS and it requires a bit of a stable connection.
Some of the physics are good but falls short a little bit and sometimes(Such as Grenades Physics) internet lag or even FPS drop can happen. Though it's a Early Access and the Developers promised fixing these kind of issues(The developers work really hard on this game and keep it up to date everytime they can).
Such as in Real Life all the nations have different equipments and weapons. Each one with unique traits, fire rating, modifications, firepower, etc. Thing is sometimes the fight will be unfair deppending on what kind of situation you are, and that is how the game was meant to be played.
You must develop a strategy and try to use all your resources against the enemy(such as Gas, Mortar Support, and Artillery Support). This game involve some strategy and of course some good reflexes.
NOTE: If you have played games like Red Orchestra/Rising Storm before You'll be familiarized with the kind of action you will encounter in this game.
And Lastly and MOST IMPORTANT of all! Have Fun!
