The MP18 is now way more OP, it needs a nerf
Hi guys & devs,

The last balance was very good. Thanks for the job. But now the MP18 is really OP. It is way more accurate than most rifles, and maybe I am unlucky but nowadays most of german squads are Stosstruppen... because MP18.
It was hard to shoot with the first MP18 but now it has become way too easy. I tried it and it is awful great, a great player can kill a whole team with just his MP18. And some can snipe with it too.

Devs, are you planning to do something about this ? The games are so annoying when you have a one berserker guys with a MP18 sniping and killing everyone.

Fairy tales. Devs didn't change any accuracy.

Well maybe I was drunk when I played but I can tell you now the MP18 is way more easy to play than last month, before the update.
Its the damage model changes. Not only did it tweak pistols and the like it also updated the hitboxes as well
It is better but not overpowered. The last 3-Mp18 team I played against lost 3-1.

You are right I forgot about these changes. But now it makes the MP18 very OP. When you have three players with MP18 in a game and they know how to play with it... the game is lost. I tried myself and now you can snipe with it. Yea, snipe with a SMG.

No you can't. At long range it doea pistol level damage. If you died at that range its a lucky headshot. To get a better image of damage and location use the temp command /shootdebug on. It will shed light on the situation. Take an mp18 into SD or something and test it for yourself
I tried it on Flanders yesterday. I took the MP18 on purpose and I can assure you that I did not only had lucky shots (or I am very, very, very lucky) when "sniping". I would not have created a topic if I did not have tried the device.
It is OP at close range. Perhaps it should be since it is meant for that. The issue is it kills you immediately with the first bullet and you don't get a chance to dodge or hide from it. I don't like how it is now but I never use it so I am refering to the fact that is kills me more than it used to.

Accuracy has not changed at all, but the damage drop-off system has been made functional, which increased CQC damage for all weapons.

It's in the process of being fixed/balanced, check the balancing sheet on Google docs.
Someone made a thread after playin against me?
Hahahahaha. For real you REALLY made a thread just after playing against me!
Well, I told you in the chat, its not the weapon, its the player :D
Nothing has changed, its not easier than before (I can still snipe on picardy with it, but indeed its not a 1hk anymore).

Otherwise, I agree, its OP imo.

Yes I saw that. I hope it will be fixed to make it more balanced. I saw some guys reporting the same "issue" as mine.

It is still fun to play with it but I think it needs to be balanced. Bolt rifles are quite useless against a bunnyhopping and jerking MP18 bullets guy.

What do you mean with "bunnyhopping"? ;-)
