I would personally prefer the Italian or Balkan Fronts myself. (Balkans featuring the Five Nation Army)

Though, a new front would likely be a standalone game or (paid) expansion. Which would/could split the playerbase.

If the Devs do decide to work on a new front however, here's to hoping for Attrition/RDM getting the new weapons in Verdun.

i would guess that if and when the eastern front is made either as some DLC or stand alone, battles in the "freeze and snow" would be unlikely, perhaps not even available.
records exist of winter battles on the eastern front in ww1, but they were rare and usually depended upon at least decent weather. my ideas for an eastern front would include an open forest map with no trench lines unlike aisne (tannenburg), but others would not be especially that different than current maps (higher hills than vosges, but balkans or italy could do better, or less torn up trenches than places like artois or argonne to represent a more fluid situation). it is true that the russians and a/h might present the most new weapons.
i prefer gallipoli, even if it only has one map and the new central power turkey and the anzacs. it should be easier for the developers, with few new weapons and the anzacs basically only needing a voice over* and maybe some 4th "tommies" shirt/shorts/hat uniform co-op tier. it should also be cheaper for us, if a DLC.
*talk to our friends on the AU server. voice choice of Aussie or Kiwi could be a problem. ha.

Being that the game currently is focused on the infantry, I wouldn't think that'd change with a new front.

Unless the Devs want to come back here and deal with the tanks.

I know, I also ment as a response to 天命. Armoured cars were limited on the Eastern front as well so I don't think vehicles would be part of it.

I would ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE that!

Especially more advanced weapons that were used in the Western front, but not enough to be in the frontlines game.

I have tons of guns I would have loved to see, but never showed up.
