Hello!
Buyed garrys incident today, installed it and it wont start...
When i try to start it from the exe in Steam/SteamApps/common/DayOne/Binaries/Win32 it says d3dx9_43.dll is missing. Two worlds gold edition also not work maybe its the same issue... please need help!
I have; Windows 7-64bit
NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 540M
Intel Core i5-2430M CPU 2,4 GHz
and its a packard bell laptop

If you receive D3D9 error on the first startup:
Go in your game folder DayOne/UDKGame/Config and open the file DefaultEngine.ini
and replace the two dimensions with your own resolution dimensions:
ResX=1920
ResY=1080

But when i open it the two dimensions already are on:
ResX=1920
ResY=1080
;ResX=1280
;ResY=720
;ResX=1600
;ResY=900

This is the good one to change

Sorry dont exactly understand what you mean but i changed every of them to 1920 and 1080 but it still doesnt work... :(

You need to change the first one with your resolution.

I have the same problem: game does not start.
the Resolution setting is ResX=1920 and ResY=1080
I even changed them to ResX=1280 ResY=720
nothing works
