If you don't dislike exploiting lasers being overpowered you can use a golden laser pistol

I got extremely lucky on my 10th attempt or so, found a grenade rifle+super plasma cannon, and ended the Throne before it had a chance to fire a single shot. Course you won't be finding either of those weapons if you take the shortcut and skip the crown vaults.

Really, snagging Boiling Veins and leveling the entire area with explosives is probably your best bet. May the RNG gods grant you a Gatling Bazooka.

Play passively, there is absolutely no reason you should be charging into a room filled with enemies guns blazing. Just abuse cover and pray to god you have a weapon that can pretty much kill Lil' Hunter instantly.

It's just a matter of being super careful. You'll surprise yourself how well you do when you play carefully.

I had a golden shotgun on melting, and that was great for bursting things from behind cover.

well his active deals with bullets should you be in the middle of a pile of corpses.
the other thing I used to get it currently doesn't work (it was gamma guts, boiling veins also help it so half the enemies in 6-1 mean nothing). gamma guts also helped with rats and maggots.

Get a golden nuke launcher and boilies.

Utilize the proto chest to get a weapon you are most comfortable with.
Start with a crown as well, such as crown of curses that won't have a huge impact on your run.

I recommend putting an Esword which will allow you to cruise through most of the game once you hit the vault in the scapeyard.

Get Euphoria and boiling veins and then a hig damage long range weapon like the super crossbow or laser rifle

- Dodge oncoming bullets
- Only take necessary risk
- Never fear, for Fear is the Mind Killer
- Think rationally as you play
- Guns are not as mighty as the sword in a lot of cases, consider Melee
( Energy Melee Weapons, for example, are good tools for attacking and protection )
- Take advantage of Melting's active. Blood Explosions can be used to destroy bullets.
- Having a good set of mutations helps. Long Arms, Energy Brain, and Bolt Marrow are solid.
- Impact Wrists and Throne Butt are amazing for Melting, since the corpses spread further.
- Try not to get hit

Just get a crossbow with bolt marrow and boiling veins , I got to 5-3 without getting hit JUST with a crossbow . to win you need a Laser cannon / minigun + laser brain ( it can kill the generators in 3 hits ) and the throne in 10-20

Remember there's no time limit. Take your time to plan out how you're going to handle something. Remember your active can destroy projectiles.

You don't need to beat the throne, you just need to reach it (AFAIK).

When you die to the throne, progress overview says "You did not reach the throne" with the throne clearly stomping around right behind the message.
