Achievement I didn't achieve?

When I started up NT today I got the achievement for killing the Lil Hunter guy (I think he's the boss of 5-1, right?). I definitly have not done that. Any clue why this would happen, or is this a common occurance?

Yes, I've read about this happening to some people, but I couldn't tell you why, it's never happened to me. Good thing too, I would have been irritated at having an achievement that I didn't earn.

But he's an early boss, so you should be able to kill him relatively soon. If you'd gotten an achievement for getting to L2 or something, it would have been another story entirely.

He's very easy when you know how he works, freakishly difficult when you don't.

It's understandable for new players to have a lot of trouble with him.
