PROS:
Great support.
Excellent rapport between the consumer base and the development team.
Light technical footprint allowing a huge variety of computers to run it.
Upcoming support for IOS and pads.
Upcoming Map Editor.
Monthly patches to polish the game.
Excellent graphics.
Solid gameplay holding true to the boardgame roots.

CONS:
Small development company with limited manpower.
It's a boardgame, don't mistake it for anything else.
AI logic is what you would expect out of a computer- lots of rote activity and patterns.


I'd say yes. Only you can know for sure if it's your cup of tea though.

For $30, I think the amount of single player content is too small. But if your primary concern isn't money and you like the boardgame, this is a faithful computer game rendition.

The multiplayer aspects are limited as there are not a huge number of people playing. But for me, the hotseat option is really nice.

"Worth it" is a relative concept. If you like the 3rd edition Space Hulk boardgame, this game is worth it. Otherwise, it's likely not worth it.

I'd like to point out that Space Hulk contains 18 Single player missions for $30s. Starcraft 2, even though it is an RTS, has a number of non-base building missions that play in a similar fashion, provides only 26 missions total for an original $59.00 List price. It's a close enough comparison to show that Space Hulk does provide comparable content at a cheaper price to industry standard.

In terms of community interaction, giving the players what they want and generally being awesome, this game has possibly the best dev team i've ever seen. They're brilliant and the work they've done to improve the game has been sensational.

Beyond that, it really comes down to whether or not you've a fan of Space Hulk/other dice-rolley alien-blastey techno-gothic strategy games-or War Hammer. If you're a fan, you'll love this. If not, maybe not so much.

its really nice game with awesome support.If you like warhammer universe buy it! If you like board game also.But if you dont play this kind of games or prefer games with lots of multiplayer options no with mission system - hm maybe better will be diffrent game for you .Price is normal for me.. And dont matter the revievs in internet this games should have better vote.

I'm certianly enjoying it . I came from the Space Hulk game on PS1. Still a noob though so It's quite challenging . It is a great turn based strategy game.

Well Titus had a point there. It's hard to tell if someone will like it or not. I personally think it does worth the money, worth even more, but i love wh 40k, Space Hulk, tabletop games and turn based strategies in any form.

Titus would have had a point if he had just left it at saying he didn't know what games Black Legion liked. Calling the question stupid then berating the guy was not only overly aggressive, it was inappropriate. He's also wrong about there not being a valid answer. I gave one. At least one or two others did as well.

Behavior like that is bad for a budding community, especially online. It should not be condoned, encouraged or defended.
