Linux: How to select which monitor the game is starting?
Iam using linux and have the problem, that the game ist allways starting on the outer left monitor (which is my TV that is far away from my dest) no matter what is selected as primary screen (that is the outer right screen on my desk). Is there an option to change the screen, or at least an option to start in window mode?

Apparently it's Unity that decides this, so it shouldnt' have anything to do with it being Linux.

You can start it in windowed mode by holding down ALT when you start, but not really a solution to the issue.

I use KDE not unitiy but i found a solution, i just had to set up a global hotkey for moving the selected window to the next screen (not workspace). Then after starting the game and when the starting video plays i was able to move the game using this global hotkey (i did not needed to start the game in windowed mode). After the game started i just had to change the resolution (because my tv has a different resolution than my normal screen) which worked directly, without restarting.

Glad you found a way to fix the issue :)
