Multiplayer - "Communicating With Server"

I seem to simply get that message on screen, and it never finds the server. Am I doing something wrong?

No, the server does seem to have been down for a couple of days. Hope it's easy to fix!

I presume multiplayer is still possible? If hasn't been discontinued?

I believe there would have been an announcement if they were planning to discontinue service. Bear in mind that the company had to shut its doors, so support is likely to be a bit inhibited at times now.

You can try sending an email to support@fullcontrol.dk to let them know something up with the server, but I'm not sure if the email is still viable.

Multiplayer does need to have their server working, otherwise you can't see what games you've got going and can't play. It's not peer to peer; you need their server. No word on why the server is down. Maybe it crashed, maybe the DNS registration for it wasn't renewed, maybe hosting wasn't renewed, ...

If it doesn't get fixed, then there's only local hotseat multiplayer to let you play against another Human. Hope it gets fixed soon! And that its clock finally gets set to the correct time.
