Stats reset.

I wanted to reset my reputation level back to 0 so I could get some achievements that I missed out on, namely "Crack-bang" and "Lay on hands". However I'm also trying to do the six original heists on OK 145+.

My question is: if you reset your stats, do all challenges, or only specific challenges, get reset?
When the prompt to clear your progress appears, it says that your cash, rep, upgrades and challenges will be reset. Are these challenges limited to weapon challenges and the like or does this include challenges such as that for the golden masks.

Simply put, if I reset my level now, will I lose the progress I've already gained toward the golden masks and have to begin again, or will I be alright?

Challenges are linked to the save file. If you reset you lose everything like you just got the game. Achievements are linked to Steam so you won't lose those. I very very very highly recommend bakcing up your save in %AppData%/Local/PAYDAY/.../save099.sav

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I appreciate the response. I'll be sure to take your advice and back up my save in case anything ever happens in the future.
