I begin to play with Payday 1 before Payday 2.
I don't find them linear. Different feelings though.
The music is so well put, so intense in both games.
Do you have the Wolf pack DLC ?
Counterfeit is the best map in the series for me.
In payday 2 what i don't like is the fact that
the gamer who hosts the game can cut the black scenes with the scenario
whereas you cannot do this in Payday 1.
I really like to hear the speeches before starting the heists.
PAYDAY: The Heist has much better level design. Each heist is like a distinct action movie with great set pieces. Getting the objectives done swiftly, and advancing the progress of each mission while battling the assault waves is very satisfying. Also, the map design is pretty great. Nothing feels too small like in PAYDAY 2. And certainly there is no recycling of maps, which is one of teh biggest mistakes they made in PAYDAY 2.
When they add more content to PAYDAY 2 (including more levels beyond 100) I'll play it again, but I didn't become an addicted to that game like I did with the first one.
