Is there a way to emulate 3 extra xbox controllers to get 4 players at the same time?
owning 3 xbox controllers is just unreasonable for a PC game. I would understand if a game with Online multiplayer had this kind of achievement.

I got it with x360ce. There is also x360kb but I could not configure it.

Can you go a little more indepth on how you got it, in a tutorial kind of way? If its not too much to ask. Did you need 3 extra controllers?

Yes, I had to use three controllers. The program only helped because I do not have three 360 gamepads.
Use your favourite search engine to look for "x360ce". There are detailed instructions on the official site.
If you need help with a specific step, let me know :)
I am pretty sure a friend got the achievement with x360kb but I do not remember how.

After you get x360ce, you can get vjoy to emulate extra joysticks and use x360ce to make them xbox360 controllers. I received the achievement this way (I had a single controller).

I saw your guide on AStats and I couldn't make it work for the life of me... Sad.

Ooookay, you meant Headsoft's VJoy, and not vJoy... Now I see. Will try again.

EDIT: And it did work now.
