What are the fixes for multiplayer not working?

Currently having the whole you click multiplayer then it black screens and if you ctrl alt delete the .exe is not working. What are all the solutions?

Go to \Documents\Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, open up your multiplayer config file: (AssassinBlackFlagMP) check to see what DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight are set to.
If they have odd or negative values, try changing them to Height=1024 and Width=768.
I had this happen to me on both SP and Multi, you can change display later once the game loads though.

If u properly setup all the visual settings and res within the SP options screen; then exit out of game to save those settings and restart your game, MP should work just fine.

If u are launch game newly and clicking MP; well do not do that.
