This camera is the worst.
It sucks that the game actually uses the old AC camera while you're on the Jackdaw, or on a roof or running. But when you're walking through the streets it zooms back in. Then back out when you're in a crowd. Then back in. Then back out when you walk next to two or more people. Then back out.
Ubi says they listen...but I can't get them to. :(
They don't even have to take away the original camera for those who like it. Just add an option in the menu for the old AC camera...
So, I sat down for a few hours today (more than I'm willing to admit)
and I've made a Cheat Table in Cheat Engine to fix the Camera Distance thing.
It's still extremely beta. And there's minor camera ticks from the game trying to right itself. I'd love if someone can improve on it.
What's a good upload site? Can we post uploads here?
It's also really Ghetto. because you have to stand on the jackdaw, or on a roof, and then alt tab out to enable the fix, and go back in the game. It just locks the camera distance back until your heels hit the bottom of the frame. Not as good as the old ass creed games. But pretty good.
Well that's a helpful and friendly response. Many people, myself included, can get headaches or nausea from low FoV games. It makes it kind of hard to enjoy the game.
