what is the little number above the screen in game?
Is it fps? if so mine is very low :#

it starts off at 60 on start up but then drops to 5-10 in game...how can i increase it?

Sadly Your specs isnt that good for this game,try doing everything (or almost) low ingame settings and see if that works.

disable in game vsync or sync every frame the ingame one is broken and kills your frame rate
