Wtf is this ProSiebenSat.1 BS?

So yea, wtf is going on? I log on after 6 months or so to see that I have to link my SOE account with this company with the weirdest name I have ever seen. So after 20 attempts I finally get it linked then it says I have to download a completely new launcher, WHY?! WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THIS?! If I have to do this then why the hell is the game still on Steam if you can't use it through Steam? gg Sony... Is there a way around this? -__-

EDIT: I re downloaded it and now it won't even open. God PC gaming is going ♥♥♥♥...

i think its cause euro sony partnered with PROSIEBENSAT.1 awhile back and they changed a couple things.

AFAIK you don't need to connect your SOE Account to PRO7Sat1Games since you use the game via steam. At least Customer Support told me that.

Well when I run the game on steam it tells me to link my acc with PSS.1 and when I do it tells me to download a seperate launcher so then I can't access it directly through Steam...

so add it to the library, then you can access it through steam..... just make sure you can tell the difference between the two.

...I'm just saying it seems a bit pointless to put the game and all the dlc on the UK Steam store and we're not even able to play the game...

i'd get in touch with SOE, might take a bit, but it'll work. also just play uspc, dont have to go through prosebien i belive.

Just replace the launcher in the DCUO folder with the one on the DCUO EU website, though to be honest i wouldn't trust them at all at this point, their servers are being DDoSed left and right and were hacked a few months ago. I hope SOE see their mistake and get rid of them as a provider soon.

Yeah if you want to play try to find a workaround to get on SOE´s american servers.
Prosieben offers AWFUL support in all regards.
How SOE could agree to this is still beyond me.
