Is DCUO dead?
I've queued for level 10+ Raids and PvP, and I was not able to find one...ever. As the title says, is this game dead?

Oh. :x...And ya, since posting this, I have asked around and people just told me that people wait to Queue for stuff at level 30. Apparently, for experience players, they're able to get level 30 in less than a week.

I have not had to wait in a queue too often and i have restarted multiple times to try different powers/setups. I re-played instances loads of times without issues. Though I have stayed away from pvp. Maybe people do not want to pvp? As for PVE the game seems far from dead, not personally had an issue getting an instance/raid.

At low levels, CeeJay? or at higher levels? At level 10, I could wait for 1-2hrs, and nothing would start. :x

Area51(level10) and Gorrilla Island(level14). Generally I can repeat them quite quickly, I think the most I have waited is 25 mins for gorilla Isiand, but normally get in quicker. However which ever character I am leveling tends to shoot past these after only replaying them a handfull of times per character. As I say I stay away from the pvp versions. I would imagine it also depends on the role you play as well as the time of day. I would imagine getting in now might take some some time, where as a peak times its quite quick.

I actually have not had a character over 23 yet (just got one there tonight) I like to play about with their skills and try new things. I may actually need to pay for more slots instead of restarting characters a lot. :)

Lol...You're a better man than I am. I can't stand playing more than 1 character at a time. In any case, I'll see if it's different when I queue for stuff on the PvE phase.

It's been awhile since I played DCU (probabaly comming back soon :P). But, the feel I got was that levels 1-30 were almost like an extended tutorial. At the end of the 30 level tutorial, you had access to all your power points, and many feat points (though theres tons of those to earn) and could start playing th game for real. :P

I see. I'll keep that in mind, lol.

No, DCUO is not dead and will not be in a very long time. The reason you are not getting in
1. Low level. When you get to level 30 then you will not have any trouble.
2. LFG chat. Nowadays people use LFG to get whole groups together or just get with league mates to skip the waiting process; therefore, if a small amount of people queue for a alert, raid, pvp, or anything will not find a group for hours. Hoped this helped. And DCUO is a GREAT game. Do not give up on it.

as most everyone said, game can be lonely till you reach lvl 30. I've made 15+ toons and almost all of them were leveled completely solo.

Yep I level solo, but still I really have not had to queue for too long. I just restarted one of my slots again to pick a villian route, not had too wait very long for an instance at all.

I can level a character from 1-30 in about 3 days tops...less if I really get into a groove. Sometimes I do alerts, other times I just quest. Now they give you an exp booster that lasts for like an hour or so...dont do ANY standing or be idle...in one hour after doing side quests and story lines you can easily get 3-5 levels or more depending on your time investment. Like others have stated, low level alerts can at times be hard to find a group for and sometimes it's an insta-pop. Just queue up and keep questing...don't rely on alerts to get you through though. It's not a grind at all until 30...and like everyone says "The game doesn't really start until 30".

Pandora and other music sites are your best friend while zombie-moding out to level 30
