Is this like Ace of Spades?
Is it like Ace of Spades where you just build and kill people and their is no real point to it. Because that bores me. Or can you level up or customize guns and yourself or even get hats?

We have our gunsmithing tool which lets you create your own custom gun, complete with stats. We also have a skin crafting tool which lets you create your own skins too. We have a full class editor as well. Then there's the Onslaught mode, which is a coop "horde-like" mode that pits you and 3 friends against hundreds of robots.

We don't have level progression like CoD, but we do have rank matches that are based on a point system. You start with 2000 points and go up or down according to if you win or lose, based on the relative skill level of everyone in the match. We chose not to use a level progression system because limiting someone's creativity in favor of making them grind out to unlock stuff just doesn't make sense for this game.

Sounds great, is their going to be a pre-order bonus?

We can't do pre-orders on Steam, so no unfortunately there will not be.

I've just seen it has trading cards, so I will most likely get it if it £10.

People who bought the game before it came out on other platforms on the 11th of July got an exclusive skin, gun skin, and some blocks which will be out as cosmetic DLC later.

Building in game can be useful or useless depending on the game mode. TDM has not too much point to building due to there not being strategic points on most maps. CTF, on the other hand, has a point to defend and encourages you to set up walls made of harder blocks around the flag and to build tunnels around flag carriers to protect them from enemy fire. Lava survival and Onslaught encourage upward construction to escape rising lava and hordes of mobs trying to create towers towards the players and kill them, respectively. Then there's siege mode, where teams race to build a trebuchet first. Some people will defend by placing walls, some people will attack by destroying parts of the enemy shield, and some will build the trebuchet block by block.

It's possible that there are differences with how steam displays added taxes between the two currencies. I know that that's the case with euros and USD...

So basicly took all the things that did ace of spades, but tweaked it and made it better? Eh, I guess thats good, but I don't buy things from companies take from good creative companies like ace of spades, yes I know ace of spades is based off tf2 and minecraft, but seeing at your pics, its looks alot like ace of spades, not buying this and/or recommeding this to any of my friends.

You're making a big mistake, thinking that it's essentially Ace of Spades. Show me the gunsmithing abilities in ace of spades, or custom skin support, or custom prefabs. Show me the lava and meteor survival in ace of spades. Show me a co-op horde mode in ace of spades. Show me a mode where you construct a siege weapon.
What, you can't? Perhaps because this game has almost nothing in common with ace of spades other than the fact that it has voxels and guns?

We began development right around the same time as the original Ace of Spades. We didn't even know AoS existed until about 1-2 months into development. When we did find out about them, we made sure to make ourselves completely different than them. They were slow and methodical, we are fast and frantic. If anything, the new Ace of Spades (Jagex's) copied us, because they sure didn't get their ideas from the original game ;).

Basically, its more like minecraft, really? Spleef? Gun"Craft"? At least ya'll were honest about it. Ace of spades tried too hard while denying it and that brought the game down. That plus, they stopped updating it too soon.

Omg all block games are a rip off of minecraft so i wont buy it wow what a noob thing to say ace of spades failed hard.... why they rushed it to beat this game... and for two block style graphics have became a new kind of game style... just like there tons of games out there now that have taken borderlands style of art and went that way as well.... welcome to gaming kids ;)
