Game Speed Problem?

So I was playing this game at the same time as my friend and I noticed that his game was moving significantly quicker than mine. If I hadn't seen his game in comparison to mine I would have never have noticed so it's not gamebreaking to me at all. I'm just curious as to what may be causing this as both computers are macbook pros from 2011 with the same amount of ram and my computer is the one with the better processor.

Having the same problem on my Macbook Pro. Running far slower than it should be.

I'm also having trouble exiting the game. When I go to close the game, the window closes but the application stays in the dock Not Responding unless I force quit.

Any suggestions for either of these issues? Got the game yesterday and still haven't been able to play.

The thing about the game hanging after it closes is just a mac problem I think the dev said. It was addressed in one of the threads somewhere. I believe they said they weren't sure what was causing it. Don't quote me on that because I read it a while back but it happens on mine as well.

I had this problem on my laptop. The thing is, my laptop has no power at all. Perhaps you just need a more powerful setup to run the game faster.

That's what I thought at first but then like I said, my laptop is more powerful than my friend's and the game runs the proper speed on his.

Not sure if they patched it or something but the game is now running at normal speed for me.

Runs at normal speed on my MacBook Pro 2.45Ghz 4GB RAM for several games, then seemingly randomly halves the running speed making it kind of unplayable. I mean, I could play it, but it's so slow it's very boring.

Feels like the kind of speed that might be a 'genetic feature' for some characters, but seems to afflict every game played from that point on.

Have the quitting issue too. Not sure where it's "addressed".
