Gold is useless after upgrading everything...
So, how about "infinite" upgrades?
Like, 1,000,000 gold for 0.1 increase in an attribute.
Next Upgrade would cost 2,000,000 and increase only 0.09
Something like that, but actually having a real scaling?

Well if you take the time to upgrade everything completely... you're already putting in a lot of hours. Isn't it nice to have a definitive end to that? Besides, you can still find upgrades for stats in the chests anyway. I personally felt pretty good after spending 96 hours maxing everything out and finally being done.

Is there actually a cap on how much Attack, Magic you can have?
Sam Lilly Feb 9, 2015 @ 6:23pm
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that there technically is only so much that the program can handle counting up to, yeah. I haven't played enough to find a cap, but you have to get stats from chests so it'd take a long time to find that out. Sorry.

I'm trying to "max" armor, so I do farm a lot of chests.
I have 74% damage reduction right now, and I'm really pissed off 'cause of all the "Max Mana" drops, I have something around 110+ more Mana than HP.

Seems like the drops are random and I think the caps are probably ridiculously high since they probably aren't manually capped. I'd say if you have the best armor on and all the armor maxed on the skill tree, you're basically at max. It's only going to go up incrementally from there, and much less frequently since you need to get lucky stat ups from chests. Any reason you're looking for so much armor?

I'm taking 400~850 damage on NG+20, I NEED more armor!

I mean... if you feel you NEED to beat that many new game plus modes... but you'll have to get it from the chests and it's going to be a long grind, man.

And how exactly does that help anyone if they already have no use for gold?

The joke is that making gold fly everywhere is the use because you keep collecting such large amounts.

@Sam Lilly,
It took you 96 hours to max everything out? I'm about 5 upgrades away from finishing, and I think I've played for 40ish hours so far, and I have all runes and blueprints purchased...
Sam Lilly Feb 20, 2015 @ 8:34am
Well are you on the new game plus modes? I was trying to max it all in the first game since I didn't know there were plus games. And plus games get you more gold per coin. So it took me naturally longer, and also I wasted a lot of time looking for the last few blueprints and runes since I don't think you can get them all in the first game.

I wasn't sure that this was the case, but I actually thought of that.

The problem in rushing NG+++ is that you get money really fast, and it is waaaay easier to max everything.
Kazeto Feb 20, 2015 @ 1:48pm
Then again, if you are one of those people who can rush NG+(insert any hight number there) for gold, you are skilled enough that you deserve to be able to max out all the upgrades easily.

I mean, maybe I'm bad at it but for me the dungeon area on the first NG+, let alone any higher ones, feels as hard as the bonus bosses (though obviously not with one super-strong monster but with many lesser but just as annoying), and those are a test of skill anyway.
