Alright. going make this easy for everyone if you manage to FINALLY get to this boss.

This fight is basically fighting two Johannes instead of one. The thing you have to realize immediately is that you're playing as Johannes himself...and thus you have all of his spell attacks. ALL OF THEM.

Which means, not just the multiple daggers and tossing of the axes. You have his Sword Wall magic.

The Sword Wall magic is the key to making this fight easy instead of a grueling hit and run to hoping they don't swing their sword even though I swung first and struck them.. still hitting me because of their larger swing radius and didn't get stunlock (piece of #@$@)

Anyways, you can do this magic. Brohannes are actually showing how it's done(Like showing it hundreds of times in a row -____-). You cast the spell in the middle of your dash. You press either Q or E and then mid way press W, BAM Sword Wall.

This will cheese the fight but I think they deserved it for being cheap themselves. Plus this spell doesn't take a lot of MP I believe so it makes a great defense against them.

Now here's tactic: Get them both close to the wall on either side, stand away from wall where it's just about the same length of your dash distance. Then do a Spell Wall. This will cause them to get knock back against the wall and as their programmed to dash away from it so the players don't pin them (THANKS CELLAR DOORS....>_> *stares at them annoyingly*) they will hit the sword again and bounce back. Rinse and Repeat.

You have to recast the sword on the same spot so they don't escape. Don't stand close either after the casting because they're retarded on their dash animation when you even stand near by as they're against the wall (DASH DA DASH! DASH SOME MORE! Oh look, the entire field and sky is covered with Sword Walls! AMAZING! -______-)

Give it a shot if it gets annoying to fighting them normally. I was close before, doing the normal way with the daggers and hit n run tactic... just... you know, after 4 remix bosses...enough is enough.

I've read that there are new rooms and bosses? Will I come across them on my normal play? Been a while since I played so I'm only at +3.

If you're talking about normal play like starting over, you won't. If you go back with your + game you will.

When you come to a praying statue, it'll give you the item to unlock the remix bosses. Pray 4 times to get the first 4. Then when you beat them, go to the statue again to get the final item for the final remix boss.

Knowing about the Sword Wall does make this fight a bit more managable. You don't have to use the tactic I mentioned. Just knowing you can do that spell helps keep the distance from them.

Wanted to necro/bump this thread. This method worked like a charm (once I got used to the move itself!). Was satisfying enough beating them this way so I'm glad I found your thread!
