F-U Neo Khidr
You and your ridiculous unfairness, you can suck my ♥♥♥♥♥.

After fighting this boss for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ near 20 hours, I have some pointers for the people who may find it difficult to even get past half health.

- Use the powered up version of your wall sword. This one is much larger, so it is easier to hit, and it takes up 30 mana. It does a lot more damage, but the biggest benefit is that you aren't focusing on casting it as often, so it doesn't distract you from dodging.

- Turn before you attack! Remember that the game prevents you from turning while you are attacking, and this is critical to get right otherwise you'll miss attacking with a powered Blade Wall.

- Try and attack whenever you land on the floating platforms or are jumping/falling right beside Neo Khidr. This is important in getting damage in, and if you are caught in a bullet spiral loop, you can finish him off by getting a few hits in each time.

- Cast your powered spell each time you attack. It is advised to map your powered spell key right next to you attack key so that you can press both at the same time whenever you want to attack. This is important in being able to not have to deal with two separate attacks at once, they are now combined and you won't get distracted or lose focus with two different attack keys.

- Utilize tapping movements. Those that played a lot of Go-Kart games back in the day will probably know this the best, but tapping the direction you want to go in instead of just holding it down gives you quite a bit of control over your movements, more so than normal. However it does so by sacrificing distance. This is best utilized while on the ground, as your haste rune and the game's inherent floaty-ness (due to the character having acceleration and deacceleration while moving on the ground) will make you over or under reach your destination too many times.

- Remember that the game has no acceleration or deacceleration while moving left and right in the air. Use this to your advantage for very fine tune movements. Jump when possible to avoid incoming attacks, and do so in the corners, as the corners of the level give you the most freedom as the bullets are the most spread apart.

- Remember to jump multiple times! Especially when you feel like you are going to land on a bullet, jump again! The extra jumps are not as high and you are not as likely to jump into another bullet. That and you have greater aerial maneuverability than on the ground so jumping again to use that maneuverability to continue dodging is better than just getting hit.

- Only Jump on the corner half of the bottom platforms. The game restricts your minimum jumping to a certain height, and because of this, only the left half of the left platform and the right half of the right platform is safe to jump. Otherwise you'll ran right smack into Khidr.

- Unless you are a ninja, stay on the ground. Those that have really good reflexes and are able to beat the Dark Realm of Super Meat Boy without any problems are able to utilize the games flexibility in left and right movement during jumps. These sorts of people will be able to finish this boss off in half the time other people will be able to, and the do it by staying on the floating platforms. Most of us don't have that kind of skill, so stick to the ground whenever possible.

- Unless you are the aforementioned ninja above, stay away from the walls. When you jump, the walls seem to restrict the height of your jumps by around a half or so. This means that if you tough the wall while jumping, you probably will not survive. If you are the aforementioned ninja, memorize the decreased height you get from jumping against the wall and use that to your advantage. Also remember that dashing against the wall keeps you afloat in that position for a short amount of time.

- If you are on the bottom platforms and Khidr shoots a bullet spiral pushing you to the other bottom platform, there are small sections in which you can stand still, then move sharply against the spiral while there are two bullets right above and below you to dodge the one above as you are more likely to get hit by it if you stand still entirely. If you get pushed to the left platform, it is the very far left corner. However if you get pushed to the right one, it is closer than the corner, and I haven't been able to remember its location (I used to be able to do it in the first few hours of playing). If you cannot get those sweet spots, you'll have to jump straight up from the ground (do not land on the platform, it can mess you up) go as high as you can, and downstrike on Khidr for that last little push.

- If you are on the bottom platforms and the bullet spiral is pushing you to the wall, jump and land on the floating platform, than jump twice while moving forward to become above Neo Khidr. From here, you must downstrike while you are directly above Khidr while moving forward, and then jump for the last time before you land on the final platform as if you timed your jumps perfectly, you will have moved a little too fast and will end up hitting a bullet if you don't jump again. However, if you do not get good jumps, you'll have to use up all your extra jumps first before you downstrike, and you should land on the platform just fine without getting hit.

- Whenever you have to go above Neo Khidr in anyway, mainly due to the two points right above this one (especially if you can't find those two sweet spots when the spiral pushes you to the other bottom platform), try your best to fall between Khidr and the floating platform right onto the bottom platform. This is because the game has no method to auto-fall through floating platforms, causing you to lose precious time, getting you messed up in other button presses, and will most likely get you hit. Falling straight to the bottom platform gives you plenty of time to react to the next attack, and you'll survive a lot longer.

- When Neo Khidr launches his full circle bullet attack, it is advised to stay on the ground and just simply move left and right to dodge the bullets, and not even attack right afterwards as if there is another full circle attack, you'll have a very high chance of getting hit. If you are a good ninja, you'll be able to utilize the far corner to jump around the bullet of one of the two different circle attacks to hit Khidr and dodge the next one. However this requries knowing which of the two, and being good enough to dodge it. You can also get in one attack right after the final circle attack, but this must be done really quickly and immediately otherwise you risk getting hit.

- The random attack is the one where you can get the most damage in, but is also the one where you can get hit the most, especially if you aren't good at your aerial maneuverability skills yet. You'll want to strike when there are no bullets going directly diagonally into the corner. If there is only one bullet coming and you have already started attacking, you can utilize the corner to do a jump circle around it and come out at the top. However if two diagonal bullets come in succession, you won't be able to successfully dodge properly and can either get hit by that bullet or get hit by a bullet above you during your jump, or land on the floating platform, screwing your focus over.

- Don't try and beat it in one day. You most likely won't even beat it in the first week. Take breaks, cool off your head, and come back another day refreshed and calm. Stress and anger will make this boss more difficult, and will take you out of "the zone".

- Finally, watch youtube videos of other players beating Neo Khidr. Getting to see how they act in certain situations and what techniques they use to deal with the attacks is an excellent way to prep yourself in beating Neo Khidr.
