Dark Armor in NG+

Im grinding gold on ng+ and i managed to get 4 out of 5 dark armor pieces without using curse runes or calypsos compass, but all internet sources say that its only possible to get it (without runes or compass) in ng++. Did i run to some kind of bug here? has anyone got the full set in ng+?

It's entirely possible, but the chances are so extremely low you'd have been better off just going to NG++ and throwing on a grace rune or two: It's literally NG+ but with better drops and .5x gold.

thats cool I completed the full armor in NG+4, also the slayer armor adds very interesting statistics
