Game also got an update, I think it's getting all ready for release soon. And the cards drop whether you play the game to farm them, or play it to play it. :)

Card City Nights 2 for Beta Testing
Your Steam key activation has been revoked by the publisher of the game, because a pre-release beta or test period has ended. The content associated with this Steam key can no longer be used as a result.
If the developer has already released a coming soon page or launched the product, you’ll be able to find it on their Steam Store page.:"

I am glad that I can buy the game properly, btw. (I had been wondering about that. Mainly because I want to throw some money at you as thanks for all the work, but bought from Steam, the review will be worth more than for a game gotten with key, and no doubt a positive one!)
I still have the cards, will hug them until I can play CCN2! :)
I got a foil.
Hehe, nice view. Also, congrats! :)
Yes! Let's say that was the plan all along =)
