You may make Lets Play and other video content of Contraption Maker.
We get occasional inquiries about this, so just to make it easy, and have something to point people back to:

Please feel free to post videos of Contraption Maker online. We included the video recording tool to make it easier for people to get gameplay footage, and we're perfectly happy for you to do a review, a Lets Play, stream gameplay, or turn it into a surrealist horror/comedy in which giant cats devour an army of luckless handymen. We think this kind of thing is awesome, and we're proud to have made something people are interested in sharing.

You may monetize your videos as you see fit, and thanks for taking the time to check out Contraption Maker!

I appreciate video recording tool in every game. It's very useful. Add YouTube support to directly upload videos, and Twitch support if possible.

Youtube uploading directly from the game is coming. We were working on it, but Google wants you to ask all sorts of permissions from users in order to allow it. We have been looking for ways around that, but it looks like it may be the only way they let you do it.

We have also talked about adding movie making "triggers" for your contraptions. These would be little invisible triggers that would move or zoom the camera when an object passes through them.

Twitch support is a good idea. We will have to look into that when we get the time.

This!

It's such a relief to hear these words from the minds behind one of my favorite games growing up. Certain game companies don't care about and even dislike YouTube/Twitch. You guys though, know what the internet means to people. I'll definitely pick up Contraption Maker the first chance I get!
