Alpha 5 is live. Copy & paste everything!
Alpha 5 is out now and ready for everyone to check out. This update includes all of the amazing work Kevin has been doing over the last month. He has switched our physics engine from floating point to integer. This was a crazy undertaking that a lot of people said couldn't be done, but we did it! What does it really mean for you? Congratulations on getting this done!
We have pushed out a few more fixes since the build went live on Monday:

  • Fixed a bug that caused objects to loop back to the top of the game world
  • Capped how high mTimeAccumulator can get and also fixed a mismatch profilier start/end block
  • Fix for cords not updating as objects are dragged around in multiplayer.
  • Avoid the mouse lock when simulating takes long.
  • Fixed a bug causing the cannon to snap to the left horizontally
  • Put the same timer check in when calling mainLoop
  • Removed question mark from Steve's name on help window
  • Fix clone crash for electrical parts
  • Fixed incorrect x-offset in flipped Punching Fist.
  • Made float version still compile for internal comparison testing purposes.
  • Slight tweak to pulley joint disparate mass problem to make it work better
  • New custom sin and cos routines - 3 times as fast as previous ones
  • Adjustments to new custom atan2 routine - about twice as fast as what was there previously
  • Work on fixing the disparate mass problem on pulleys.
  • Always call postLoadProcess in the electrical part attachment postClone method
some levels are sooo hard...can you give a hint feature?
Just a little thing but when your rotating objects sometimes the rotation button will get put behind the delete button, if its possible to make the delete button trasparent when the rotation button is over it that would be nice.

We are in the process of revisiting most parts of the UI right now. The buttons and handles are definitely on that list of "things that need work"
