So in Wasteland 3...

With all the snow, and blizzards in it...Are we going to be called Snow Rangers?

It would depend mostly on the amount of precipitation.

This includes much of the polar regions where little precipitation occurs and which are sometimes called polar deserts or "cold deserts".

So if the conditions fit, we could still be called Desert Rangers, though "Polar Desert Rangers" does sound kind of cool.

They'll probably just go with the universally generic "Rangers". I swear though, if W3 doesn't include an NPC conversation at Ranger HQ along these lines that the player can overhear or participate in, I'm gonna be dissapointed.

I wouldn't mind, but I'm sure their writers could come up with something a bit funnier.

Also, I haven't looked at the inXile forums in a very long time, but I'd be willing to bet there's already a thread over there discussing this very subject.

Oh, my I'm sure. But then again, look at the writers of Mass Effect: Andromeda...my face is very sad :(

I've not played ME:A, and likely never will. I've never been much of a fan of Bioware's work.
