This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
When comparing the factory to the satelite team you need to consider that the factory bike are always going to be a bit faster. There's no Kawi in this game so I don't know what the hell he's talking about. I went with the tech 3 bike over the gresni bike and I'm now with the factory repsol team.
So yes, in the game there IS a performance gap when comparing the repsol team to the gresini.
True stuff. Also, the only thing Kawi about that bike is the engine. That Chassis and other parts aren't from Kawi.
http://www.motomatters.com/news/2010/02/05/honda_factory_and_satellite_bikes_identi.html old news but still valid. http://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistics/2013/USA/MotoGP.I know about the parts but everyone runs different parts new or old like when rossi was with ductai completely different bike from haydens. On a real note dont for once sec tell me stefan is a better rider then dani. The satelite bikes are the same no question and cruthlow has prooved that countless times as well as spies (2010) but i hate spies (chump) lol. @Rossi your not running the bikes correctly no offence dude. Its like everyone choosing honda and the m1 thinking there the fastest bikes lol. If milestone had this game inorder Honda(Late braking,Tight Corning) M1(Corner Speed) Ducati(Acc Out Of The Corners). Youve got to remember im running a ducati in game and many people dont use it thinking its slow or something ive got 4 top runs on this game with it one is with the satelite bike (seca). Mind Over Matter
Same here but following for 17 years and only got a handful of races missing, been to Assen and Sachsenring, Brno multiple times.
Judging the two dominant bikes in the current MotoGP-season, I come to the conclusion, that on at least 70% of the tracks the Honda turns out superior. As you guys already mentioned it's basically about the M1s ability to get through 'open' corners and the Honda's speed advantage on straights, intermediate sections and getting out of tight corners, which mixes extremely well with that risky braking and cutting-into-corners-style of M.Marquez.
Leaving Rossi and Pedrosa out of the discussion (Rossi maybe too old and 'wise' to really risk his bones anymore...who knows...and Pedrosa having to ride at his limit to even TRY to keep pace with a rookie...), it comes down to the ultimate question:
Who's the better rider by NOW: Lorenzo, with all his experience, his titles, his ability to produce really good lap-times one after the other, rarely making any mistakes, however having to ride a bike that's clearly inferior to the Honda at this date (and for the rest of the season...c'mon, Sepang? - Honda. Motegi? - Honda. Phillip Island? - Honda. - Last 'Yamaha-chances' were Silverstone and Brno...)
On the other hand you got a rookie, who has shown skill and his special talents in the 250-class, however a prototype Moto-GP-bike is smth different. I am especially amazed at his abilities to get the bike through almost-highsiders or slides, no matter what speed or angle. Talentwise, maybe the best up to now. However, what he does, trying to push his own limit again and again...he was already more then close in Mugello. That one was nasty and CLOSE. Most talent and superior bike.
I'd love to see them on mostly even bikes, Stoner/Lorenzo-like, ah did I already say I miss Casey in there? :( He tried the new Honda for next year at Motegi, but apparently he is gone for (his own) good.
Not sure what next season will bring, I'm afraid it will be more of the same, don't think you can close that speed-gap anytime soon, guess Yamaha's happy for now they got that seamless gearbox up and running - let's see for how long. ;)
Anyway, next season will also bring new CRT-packages, Aprilia will offer leasing of an improved version of their A RSV4 for maybe less than a million per bike/season...LCR might post a second bike next to Bradl's aswell, though Lucio is trying hard to get sponsors atm.
If Marquez doesn't do anything stupid, he will take that Rookie-MotoGP-Championship, it won't be that 'easy' in his 2nd season I guess. The DORNA will also be interested to keep a certain 'balance' twitching the rules, they are bound to keep both of the big two factories happy and interesting in competing...we've seen it all b4.
With motorsports world- and classwide in a rather declining state, money- and spectatorwise, smth they would absolutely love to avoid is a boring, dominant season with winners finishing 20 secs ahead of the rest at the end. Again, we have seen it b4.
