How to remove Duke's sunglasses
Though I'm personally indifferent to the little change, some people are quite bothered by it. After fiddling around, I found out how to remove them.

In the "steam/steamapps/common/Duke Nukem 2" directory, make a backup of every file with an "MNI" extension, then delete them(you don't need to remove LCR.MNI as all it does is change the message when you first start the game, nothing related to Duke's sunglasses). Afterwards, backup the NUKEM2.F1-F5 files then apply the patch below to remove his sunglasses in the cinematics. This will restore Duke's lack of sunglasses from the original version of the game.

It seems to fix the in-game graphics, but it doesn't seem to fix the opening cinematic of Duke at the shooting range.

I noticed that, not sure what file changes the opening cinematic unfortunately.

Found it: "nukem2.f1" and "nukem2.f4" contain the graphics for the cinematic. I replaced them with the copies from my 1993 version of the game, and no more stupid-looking sunglasses.

I started by just replacing "nukem2.f4", given it was the larger file, and the glasses were gone only after the shooting. Replacing "nukem2.f1" got rid of them while Duke was doing his shooting.

Hmmm... interesting. Perhaps the f1-f5 files replace the cutscene graphics? Just in case, I've added a patch to the first post to replace those files.
