Changing aspect ratio to 4:3
I have searched for it on the interwebz but I found nothing. How do I change the aspect ratio to 4:3 on my AMD card? Every time I try to change it in-game nothing happens, lowering the resolution just makes it stretched. So plis help me.

So, where do you want to apply the changes, on the game or on your system?
On the game.

You can do it in "Options>Video>" and there select the aspect radio. You have 3 choices: "4:3" , "16:9" , "16:10".. you decide.
Well, that's the problem. Nothing happens whenever I try to change.

Are you running the game in windowed mode?

Nope, I always run my games on fullscreen.

If you want to run your game in 4:3 aspect ratio, then you'll probably have to buy a 4:3 aspect ratio monitor. You can't have a non-streched image if it is being drawn on the wrong aspect ratio, to have a portrait picture fill a landscape frame you would need to strech the image horizontally or heighten the resolution in which case the image will appear squished vertically. It might work in windowed mode, but then you will still face low resolutions.

I think you must change the aspect ratio to "16:9" or "16:10" and change the resolution (above the ratio aspect settings) before applying the changes. Changing the ratio aspect will change the setting's resolutions, after that you can apply and save if you want.

Yes it is possible.
You need to enable GPU scaling.

heres a link to show you how.

*edit*
I just noticed the #1 post about the GPU scaling being greyed out.
Some monitors offer the option to do the scaling. Check your hardware and see if you are in luck.

I dont currently have a AMD or ATI rig setup so I cant physically try anything to trouble shoot.
Are you on the latest drivers?
