I stopped wondering that after my first job when a teenager asked to read out the menu and then got angry when I listed a menu item he didn't believe was on the menu. I didn't get angry which made him angry enough to take his glasses out and put them on to prove me wrong.

Well... was the item on the menu or not? You can't tell such an interesting story without telling the conclusion!
