Spelunky
Ouya gamepad not recognized?
So after connecting my OUYA controller to my PC using a bluethooth dongle, which works PERFECTLY, the game itself doesn't recognize the ouya as a gamepad, can someone tell me how to fix this? and maybe the devs can fix this?

The game only supports Xbox 360 style (also known as 'XInput') controllers at the moment. Try Joy2Key, x360ce or Xpadder.
I don't want stuff to "map keybinds to controller buttons" programs, because the game won't register the controller as another controller, so I can't local coop...
bump for help?
If you want to use non-Xbox controllers (like your OUYA controller, that one also registers as standard USB-HID, not XInput, I guess), you'll have to use one of the aforementioned programs. Don't forget to activate player 2 (3,4) controls in Spelunky's settings menu.

Just set them to keyboard also, use whatever keys and then map them to your controller.

Is there any good program to emulate Xinput then?
I am using Joy2Key with an old SNES controller and an usb adapter and it works perfectly. But if you insist on emulating XInput, check out x360ce[code.google.com]. They got a pretty detailed article on how to use it[code.google.com] and also forums[forums.ngemu.com] if you need help setting it up.
I tried x360ce, some people say it works for them, but for me it just doesn't recognize the ouya controller in game..

Could you share your button mappings? I have the same setup, wondering what works best for you.

Made it work with x360ce, I used the 64 bit library and this is why it didn't work, because the game runs in 32bit...

It works AMAZING NOW!

Only Xbox 360 controllers are supported. No support for your non xbox controller.
@Knight that says: Ni!: I found a program that make my OUYA controller work perfect with the game... its called x360ce man.
My issues with x360ce is from my understanding you have to set it up in each game you play. If there a program that does not require you to add a .dll and an .exe to each game's directory?
Following a hint from another thread, I found I had to run xpadder as administrator in order for it to be seen in Spelunky, which was NOT run as admin. No idea why. But it went from Spelunky not seeing the pad at all to working fully. People in the other thread reported the same problem with System Shock 2. Didn't have to do this with other games but it's a solution to try. Just putting this here so when people come here (like me) from google they'll see it.
