Gamepad support
Does anybody using a gamepad other than an xbox360 wired controller know how to get it to work?

I use my logitech gamepad for every other game and it works fine. For Dark Souls I use xbox360ce to get it working and have tried to use it for spelunky as well.

Same problem here. :( My gamepad works fine in Super Meat Body, but Spelunky seems to not recognize it.

Probably gonna need a 3rd party compatibility program if you are not using a 360 pad.

I'm using a X360 gamepad for the PC and it picked it up on first try, no errors whatsoever

Thanks.

I just checked and it uses the standard xinput1_3.dll (some games need the others), just place the files in the same directory as the exe (I guess you know this already. Also, make sure the compatibility hook is set to normal.

Let me know how it goes, also, if you can, post what version of x360ce are you using.

No guide mate, I just copy and paste the x360ce file from my hitman folder into each game I want to play.

After you watch the guide, make sure you double check the compatiblity hook is set to normal, you acess the options in x360ce.exe. After that the only different thing has to be the version.

Get the one directly from x360ce to ensure the best compatibility.

You can use a plugin like MotionInJoy to emulate a 360 controller, and it'll definitely work then.
